Fruits of the Digital Pictobox's Labour

I've always wanted to get into amateur photography, so I recently took the plunge and bought a dSLR camera (dSLR is short for Mac-n-cheese-for-a-month expensive). My camera enthusiast friends were really great in helping me pick up one, and I've started posting some favourite photos on flickr:

I'll add some photos from time to time. Feel free to check it out, or hit that RSS feed!

Sweet Pics Ton-Ton - which dslr did you end up picking up? I'm a bit of a camera junkie myself.
- The skinny guy you mentioned in your last post.

Kooper!

You'll be happy to know that I followed in your footsteps - the Canon 30D. Lovin' it.

Send me your photos...!

The picture of the green and blue wall reminded me of the matrix. You'll notice throughout the movies everything in the matrix has a green tint to it, and everything in the "real world" has a blue tint. In the end of the mvoie you see the colors overlapping, most notably when Smith is defeated, you see the architect walking from the very blue looking pavement onto some very green grass. In short your art reminds me of that of the Wachowski brothers.

And I believe that flower you took a picture of is an Orange Lily. Lilium Bulbiferum.

You're good at word association, masta. Quickly, I say fire hydrant, you say....?

Oh cool, I will change the name on the photo. Thanks!

It's a shame the Wachowski bros. are total hacks.
